Vincent Tucker, SPD Insurance Operations Representative, shares how he feels about his career in the insurance industry.

Please share a bit about your role as a?Document Processing?Specialist.

Daily, I prep up to 1200 mortgage and auto policies (Physical documents and Emails) for various groups within the Specialty Property Division to update and/or apply to loans. I also handle depositing billing checks for various categories including Lender Placed Insurance accounts, Fine Arts Division, Precise Adjustments, Loss Draft, Private Flood, and more.?

What do you find most interesting or rewarding about your role?

I take pride that in SPD, all of the work that everyone does starts (at some level) with my team. I understand the importance of this role and proudly wear the honor of making sure everyone has the work needed to service both the borrowers and the banks that Tokio Marine Highland works with.?

What would you say to someone who has never considered a career in?insurance?

Some of the best advice I had ever received was to keep an open mind. Chances are you can find something in the insurance landscape that piques your interest and puts you on a successful path, both career-wise and personally.
