Instructional Designers and Narrators Change The World…
Paul Boucher
Bilingual eLearning Narration Ninja! Unaccented US & CAD English, CAD French.
…one course at a time.
You’ve wrought a masterpiece. You’ve perfectly combined the client’s instructional needs with the words to convey them.
It’s so good, you can practically hear the client’s story (whether it be compliance training, new employee orientation, hazardous materials, etc), telling itself.
If you’re not the narrator – now you have to pick one.
Next March at the VO Atlanta conference (https://voatlanta.me/), hundreds of voice actors will convene to mingle, network, and learn from their peers, agents, and others in the business.
So, let me ask you: if you had 400 potential narrators in one room and you could give them 3 valuable pieces of advice to convert the words on the page into a multi-dimensional, memorable impression in the learner’s minds, what would they be?
Three of us who record for clients worldwide: Laurel Thomas, Christi Bowen and myself, Paul Boucher, will have a pretty hefty fraction of those voice performers as willing captives in our workshops next March – and we can pass your words of wisdom on. Please leave some comments below.
We also have a less than 10 minute survey that would be tremendously beneficial for both you and voice actors. We’ll be happy to share the highlights of the results with you in a follow up post within a week or two. Click here to take the survey.
We’re looking forward to seeing what you chip in to help make digesting eLearning a positive experience for the learner.
