Transforming Communities to Respond to Violence Against Women with Disabilities Webinar ?

Last October,?associate Oceanos Servid started an innovative one-year project.

This project, which will involve various activities, two of which will take place in November, has the main aim of strengthening the quality and impact of volunteer work with homeless people, ensuring that young volunteers have training spaces to provide effective help and that they can receive tools for self-care and reducing the psychosocial risks associated with this work.

This project has the particularity of having a practical part directly with the people who are currently unfortunately living on the streets of the city of Lisbon, which increasingly has different nationalities, today they are no longer just Portuguese.

If you would like to know more about the project, don't hesitate to contact our member via social media or the organisation's own website.

WeYouth Policy Lab project: Capacity-building for young people in policy brief writing and advocacy campaigns ?

As part of its efforts to empower young people and build their skills in the areas of policy brief writing and advocacy campaigns, the WeYouth Policy Lab project launched an initiative to involve participants in a competition around these crucial themes.

Prior to the launch of the competition, intensive training was organised, focusing on writing policy briefs and developing effective advocacy campaigns. During this training, participating teams were formed to prepare for the upcoming competition, developing their skills and honing their expertise.

This project represents a valuable opportunity for young people to actively participate in decision-making, while bringing fresh ideas and perspectives through policy briefs reflecting their interests and aspirations.
