Institute for Global Ethics works with Allianz Life's Board of Directors

This morning I had the pleasure of chatting with the Board of Directors of the Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. Our ethics oriented discussion was wide-ranging and productive. We touched upon the Board's Core Fiduciary Duties, Tone at the Top - Directors' Activities and Adherence to Governing Policies, and the Board's role in ensuring a strong Ethical Culture at the company. We explored their Code of Conduct, reviewed Anti-trust compliance, and walked through the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines' guidance for constructing an effective global Ethics & Compliance infrastructure. It was a genuine delight to work with a values-driven company like Allianz.
