The ICAI Singapore Chapter thrives thanks to the dedication and hard work of its volunteers. These individuals play a crucial role in organizing events, managing logistics, and ensuring that the chapter’s activities run smoothly.
These volunteers, often working behind the scenes, are the backbone of the ICAI Singapore Chapter, contributing their time and skills to support the professional growth and camaraderie of its members.
Today we are introducing to you the Social Media team for ICAI Singapore who take care of different social media handles.
Anurag Gupta – Committee Member Head for Social Media
Anurag Gupta is a Chartered Accountant from India with CPA Australia and Associate ISCA accreditation. He additionally possesses an MBA degree in Finance.
With a background as a finance director and currently leading finance transformation and SAP ERP implementations at Deloitte Consulting SEA, he brings extensive expertise in IFRS reporting, financial planning, treasury management, and finance business partnering. In recognition of his achievements, he was recognized as a top finance leader in Southeast Asia in 2022.He loves public speaking and currently serving as a president of the CSI Toastmasters club.
Having joined the ICAI SG Chapter in July 2020, Anurag dedicated himself to both the social as well as the professional spheres. After being upgraded to a member of the social and professional sub-committee, Anurag actively contributed to event planning and engagement efforts. Stepping up his role as the head of the social sub-committee in 2023, he assumed leadership and took up the role and responsibility of conceptualizing, organizing, and executing the events that paved the way for our chapter members to gather together and create amazing memories.
In April 2024, he was elected to the management committee for the 2024-2027 term. He then took on the responsibility of overseeing the chapter's social media teams and managing its social media platforms, websites, mobile app, monthly e-newsletter on LinkedIn, and the semi-annual newsletter distributed to members.
Sruthi Nair – Sub Committee Member Head for Social Media
CA Sruthi Nair is a highly accomplished finance leader with over 14 years of experience in senior finance roles within the IT industry. She has a proven track record of driving financial performance, managing complex business operations, and providing strategic insights. Known for her strong leadership skills and ability to partner across cultures and leadership teams, Sruthi excels at challenging the status quo.
She has served as the Finance Ambassador at HPE Singapore (2018-2024), Finance Chair for HPE Singapore Women’s Network (2020-2024). Sruthi’s extensive experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Wipro includes roles such as As-a-Service Finance Lead, Supply Chain Finance Lead, and Business Finance Manager, where she led strategic initiatives, optimized processes, and drove significant financial improvements.
Sruthi has been an active member of the ICAI Singapore Chapter since 2023. In her first year, she contributed significantly as part of the social media Sub-Committee, managing the LinkedIn profile. In 2024, she took on a leadership role, heading the Social Media team and overseeing the management of LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Under her guidance, the introduction of an e-newsletter on LinkedIn has gained impressive traction, attracting over 1,000 subscribers. Her efforts have greatly enhanced the chapter’s online presence and engagement.
Kinnari Doshi - Sub Committee Member Head for Social Media
CA. Kinnari Doshi is the Editor-in-Chief of ‘Namaskar’ the bi-annual newsletter of ICAI Singapore Chapter. With a rich background in finance and accounting, Kinnari has made significant contributions to the profession, both in Singapore and internationally. She is a key leader at renowned accounting and consulting firm, based in Dubai and Singapore. With over two decades of experience, Kinnari has excelled in various roles, specializing in audit, assurance, and advisory services.
Her expertise and leadership extend to her role at the ICAI Singapore Chapter, where she oversees the editorial content, ensuring that the publications are insightful, relevant, and aligned with the latest industry developments.
Kinnari's career is marked by her dedication to the advancement of the accounting profession, her active involvement in community initiatives, and her commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among ICAI members in Singapore.

Session on Healthier You
ICAI Singapore Chapter held an Enlightening and Informative event on "Towards a Healthier You" on August 16, 2024.
The audience was captivated by the outstanding and esteemed TedX speaker: Dr. Malhar Ganla (Co-founder and Director, Freedom from Diabetes, Freedom from Obesity). He offered amazing insights into achieving a Healthy Living and a Healthier Us! He spell bind the audience while delivering wisdom around making better decisions regarding food and exercise, importance of physical activity and bring back a journey to fuller health.
The health and wellness session was succeeded by Q&A session that gave attendees opportunity to seek clarifications and get inspirations to take a step Towards a healthier living.
The ICAI Singapore Chapter is dedicated to offering its members valuable health and wellness initiatives, empowering them to stay ahead and continuously improve their well-being and lifestyle habits.

ICAI Singapore Chapter session at GIIS School
On 21 August 2024, the Global Indian International School (GIIS) hosted the prestigious "Global School Awards 2024," celebrating student excellence across both academic and non-academic fields. The event, which is held annually, was graced by the presence of the Chairman of the ICAI Singapore Chapter, Mr Nishant Kumar Surana, who was invited as the Guest of Honor. He was also accompanied with Vice -Chairperson, ICAI Singapore Chapter Ms Anuradha Shroff and Managing Committee Member, ICAI Singapore Chapter Mr Anurag Gupta.
The ICAI Singapore Chapter extends its heartfelt thanks to GIIS for this distinguished honor and congratulates the school on its outstanding results and the success of the ceremony. We are confident that this event will further strengthen our relationship with GIIS. We look forward to on our long term collaboration with GIIS.

ICAI Singapore Chapter celebrates Happy India's Independence Day!
ICAI Singapore Chapter had the privilege of joining the vibrant Indian community in Singapore to celebrate the 78th Independence Day of India.
This day marks not only India's freedom but also the spirit of unity, diversity and progress that all Indians cherish. It was a day filled with patriotism, cultural pride, and the reaffirmation of commitment to uphold the values of integrity and excellence in everything we do.
As the team stood together, reflecting on India's incredible journey and achievements, we all were reminded of the importance of staying true to ourselves.
A special thanks to the High Commission of India, Singapore for organizing the celebrations. Let's continue to uphold the values of friendship and collaboration.
