Know People Behind the Scenes:

The ICAI Singapore Chapter thrives thanks to the dedication and hard work of its volunteers. These individuals play a crucial role in organizing events, managing logistics, and ensuring that the chapter’s activities run smoothly.

These volunteers, often working behind the scenes, are the backbone of the ICAI Singapore Chapter, contributing their time and skills to support the professional growth and camaraderie of its members.

Today we are introducing to you the Training team for ICAI Singapore.

CA Nikhil Jain – Management Committee Head for Training

Nikhil Jain is a results-driven and highly experienced Chartered Accountant with experience in multiple finance areas with close to two decades of experience. He is currently the CFO at Infosys Compaz Pte Ltd in Singapore.

He is a volunteer and managing committee member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Singapore Chapter. As part of his role he has contributed towards multiple initiatives and award winning outcomes for the Singapore chapter.

As part of CSR program, Nikhil has conducted sessions for over 5000 college students. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and insights with others, and he is always looking for new ways to contribute as a professional and make a difference as an individual.

CA Nidhi Ladha – Sub Committee Head for Training

Nidhi is a Chartered Accountant from India with an Associate ISCA Accreditation and a result-driven Finance professional with over 10 years of experience. Currently, she serves as the Finance Transformation Lead at PwC Singapore where she leverages Artificial Intelligence to transform the Finance Function.

With a decade of experience, Nidhi has amassed extensive knowledge across various areas, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Transformation, Project Management Support, Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting and Investor Relations. Known for her strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, Nidhi excels at delivering impactful financial insights.

Since 2022, Nidhi has been an active member of the ICAI Singapore Chapter. She began her journey as a volunteer for the social media team and, in 2024, assumed a leadership role, as the head of the newly introduced sub-committee for Training Courses. In its inaugural year, the team successfully organized two training sessions on the most buzzed topics: 'Artificial Intelligence' in June 2024 and 'Sustainability Reporting' in October 2024. Her efforts have significantly enhanced the chapter’s training initiatives and member engagement.

Social ?Events:

ICAI Singapore Chapter is proud to have partnered with Singapore-based agencies HIA and AGWO on Project Dare to Dream , a meaningful initiative empowering migrant workers through financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills .

Over 10 weeks, migrant workers worked tirelessly to create innovative business plans aimed at launching ventures in their home countries . The finale, where the final 8 presented their plans to the judges, was held on 15th December '24 at Sembawang Recreation Centre, Singapore .

The participants pitched their business plans with passion and detail, inspiring all who were present . While we had top 3 winners, the organizing committee acknowledged that all participants were winners and rewarded them accordingly .

A huge thanks to all the mentors, volunteers, and judges for their support . ICAI Singapore Chapter is proud to have been associated with this project and looks forward to continuing its support .
