Instilling a sense of pride...

At our Start-Up Meeting (SUM) earlier this year, I posed a simple yet profound question to my team: “What’s the most important product of Amazon?” After several thoughtful responses, I revealed my perspective: Prime Free Same Day (PFSD) Deliveries.

Somehow, this revelation transformed everyone’s mindset. It instilled a sense of pride, joy, and purpose, knowing we are the only station in the Bay Area providing this service.? In a 4-hour window of time, we receive, induct, and stow, between 2,000 to 3,500 packages every day, ensuring they are staged, dispatched, and delivered on time, the first time, and all the time with a 99.98% delivery ratio daily goal. ?

Our relentless efforts were recently rewarded when we were recognized as the Number 1 station out of 140 in the Super West Coast Region of Amazon which includes California, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington State.? As we celebrated this achievement, Elle McIntire, myself and Raymond Wong, reminded everyone that we are only as good as our last scorecard and that our true challenge is to remain consistently consistent in our operations and always find a way to continuously improve.? ?In other words, I have inspired everyone to take to heart my motto ?– Always better than yesterday!?
