INSTILL EDUCATION TO PARTNER WITH KENYATTA UNIVERSITY

Teacher professional development has been at the heart of the education reforms as Kenya continues to roll out the CBC curriculum which is now in its 7th year. The great University that is Kenyatta University has remained the leader in the training of teachers. Every time the issue of teacher capacity is at the table, it can not be concluded without having the school of education give its input. The university has produced great teachers across the spectrum be it in the early years, primary, secondary, or university. The school of education also has the department of special needs education that ensures that no learner is left unattended as envisioned in SDG 4. It is such a joyous moment for Instill Education as we look forward to how together with Kenyatta university we could re-imagine teacher capacity development as we re-tool both pre-service and in-service educators and education leaders with 21st-century skills. Evan Hendon the head of programmes at Instill Education has always looked forward to this moment; the new dawn is here. Today the 13th of March; marks the major step toward this realization

With the changes that came with CBC implementation, this is an exciting opportunity for teachers' growth and development to keep up with the changes in the education sector. Ultimately, this will potentially benefits students with better learning outcomes and the country's education system as a whole. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.
