Happy Halloween! ??
?I just wanted to recap some happy health tips for today to keep things balanced + fun as we wrap up October!
?? Follow your meal plan. Don’t use today as an excuse to load up on sugar. Try veggies first, lots of water, and stick to those mini candies we love!
?? Press play on your workout. You’ll feel better, I promise!
?? Eat at home before you head out for any festivities - If you enjoy your superfood shake like me, enjoy it on your way out the door or before you start any celebrations!
?? Pick your treat(s). Halloween happens once a year - choose your favorite and savor it!
?? Drink your water - make sure you’re hitting your hydration goals today!
?? Enjoy yourself. You are not dieting and there should be no guilt involved. You’ve got this.
What have you done this month that you are proud of??
?Tomorrow starts a new slate with a new round of days for all the growth + gains!?
?Loop me in to your wins and goals so I can celebrate you, too!

Sometimes we use the words kind and nice interchangeably. For many of us, the word nice simply means that something is pleasant. But in the Bible, the Greek word chrestotes, translated as “kindness,” goes deeper. It refers to making ourselves useful to others, sometimes in ways that are not always pleasant.
In Ephesians 2 we read some amazing things about the grace of God. By God’s grace, we receive the free gift of salvation from our sins. The gift is free, and yet we sometimes forget that it changes us. Grace gets results. Grace is useful, beneficial, kind. Our royal responsibilities include showing God’s kindness to everyone, everywhere. We can do that by living out the good works that He has prepared for us to do. And when we do those good works, we become useful and kind to the world, and, in turn to ourselves! This Month’s Prayer: Help us to do the good work we are called to do, and to be kind to the world, as well. In our kindness, make us more useful in your eyes. Amen.
This Month’s Scripture: “He [has shown] the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” -? Ephesians 2:7
