Installing A Many Chatbot On My Facebook Account
I did a tutorial on how I installed ManyChat on my Facebook account. Basics for beginners.
Many Chatbot is one of the top Facebook many chatbot automation software out there, and well, it may be a little confusing when you first get on the platform. It turned out for me super easy to use.
On my last two videos which I will link at the end of this video – was for beginner basics for what is a Chatbot, and the 2nd video was attempting to set up Facebook Business Suite Chatbot.
So today’s video is going to set up an automation default reply flow. So this means that when someone messages your Facebook page, they will be thrown into this chatbot flow automatically. Manychat bot requires no growth tools or widget installations.
We are here in my Many Chat dashboard and as I This is going to be quick and easy to follow along with beginners guide to getting started setting up your Many Chatbot replies when someone messages your page.
Not like the automatic reply that Facebook Business suite offers, which is the one I set up the last video. Any message from them will get them into an automated chatbot flow.
What is a chatbot flow -
As in 2020, we know many businesses have more to Online, and I know many of you have a Facebook Business page. I wanted you to consider implementing Chatbots.
MY first two earlier videos were on what they are and implementing the very simple Facebook Business Suite Bot, which was not a Chatflow but a very static bot. You can look down below at the two other videos
The bottom line is that your competitors are getting involved in this automation and I fee that you should consider it too.
So a Chatbot conversation flow is a simple decision tree. You are giving you a detailed list of decisions, events, actions and outcomes. So in designing interaction with your lead or customer, you are building a decision tree specifically for your user.
It's, therefore, a great roadmap if you are new to Many Chats and I'm going to share my screen to see what I'm doing.
1. Go to ManyChat and click on "Get Started Free."
2. login with your Facebook and allow ManyChat to manage your page and messages
3. Link your chatbot to the page you want to use
4. You need to be on your dashboard now. Go to the Main Menu on Many Chat
Follow these instructions to launch your first sequence.
How to use a Many Chatbot Free Template
To access the section, click the Templates icon on the left sidebar. A list of predefined templates for Pro and Free Templates is available.
If you add or exceed Free for other functionality of Pro components, then your template becomes PRO. Installation only on Pro subscription accounts. Once you have applied those features to the template, the system displays the subscription form automatically.
For different business niches. Adding a template feature often adds all linked elements.
E.g., when you pick a flow that involves "Start another flow" phase and added to the template the other flow. These flows are inert. Add template function
Adds all associated components as well as adding a template feature also adds all related elements.
E.g., when you pick a flow that involves "Start another flow" phase and added to the template the other flow. Such flows are inactive — you may deactivate or alter the parent element by excluding them.
As soon as you make your templates, they will appear in My Profile > Templates.e — you can exclude them by deactivating or changing the parent element. Your Templates will appear in My Profile > Templates section as soon as you create them.
They are assisting you to increase your flow from your Facebook page to your website page and increase traffic there and lead generation and conversions.
So you can see my Decision – tree – this is what I wanted my Chatbot Conversation flow to look like – I would consider using a template like this.
There are three types of Steps: Content, Action, and Go-To.
- Content Stage involves all forms of communications you can send, including text, videos and galleries.
- Action Stage consists of every kind of action you want to perform, including identifying users, subscribing them to an admin sequence, starting a chat, etc. Each action step may have many steps which can be used in a message flow as a starting point for every action until the subscriber receives the first message.
- Go-To Step is a whole new step that helps you to send your subscribers from your bot contents to a particular flow without making a clone with only one click.
The series or order of steps is indicated by the lines that link them.
Flow Creator (it stands for One-Time Alert Request) once you enter One-Time Alerts.
So I made my chatbot flow, and I want to walk you through a personalised template. So I set this one up last night this is what it looks like
I am going to run through an overview of this flow and the reply and the mechanics of it. So I will jump into the flow builder to each you guys exactly how to build a flow.
Suppose you are not interested in seeing an overview and want to skip to the flow. I will place a timestamp below in the description so that you can skip to the next part.
What people are getting when they visit my Facebook page, and this messenger chat pops up. Whether they find my Facebook page via an Ad, they stumble upon it, or they searched for it directly.
When they click, send message button – on messenger they will be taken to this flow I have setup.
Visitors are greeted by my first message – which will address them by their first name. It will also give them some information; It will also give them some initial options. To book an appointment, to contact me or to go to Frequently asked questions.
The reason I have the pro feature for $10 a month is that it allows me to use the user insert prompt. This feature alone justifies spending the $10 for the pro app.
I also set a delay in here, so it looks like the bot is typing a reply to them. To humanise this chat as much as possible.
So they can
- Send me an email
- Visit my Store
- Contact me
- Read the Frequently Asked Question
- Look at Products
Easy to set up, and Many Chats will allow you to set up these sequencing.
When they click to send me an email – and an Email window will pop up where they can choose to send an email. When they click to visit my store, there is a button to take them straight to my URL.
As I have an Online Store, I did not feel I needed to add an Address window so that they could find me.
You can create your chat flow as straightforward or as complicated as you want.
So how are you going to do this – you want to go to the flow builder, and I'll teach you how to do this by walking you through the steps.
So here we are in the flow builder and again what you want to do to make sure you set this up as a default, and it doesn’t require any growth tools or triggers.
You are going to go to automation, and you are going to click on the starting step. So if the message is hey, I need help or enquired about a product or an appointment they would be prompted with the initial message.
Then you can choose up to three buttons; I decided to add Visit my store, Contact me, or FAQ. With the FAQ I decided to send them to my FAQ Url. You can link it to your Product page on your website.
I will run through the Chat Flow that I set up for my Facebook. This video should give you plenty of understanding of how you can set this up. So you would start with some greeting, which is what I have set up.
You would customise it with these brackets; I choose to use (first name). You can throw in an emoji or a smiley face.
Then you would add in some text which is what I have done here. With my flow, the individual can type anything, and the flow will prompt them.
Next, we are going to continue to next step. So whenever someone types something after receiving the welcome message, it will continue to the next step. Part of the PRO feature which is what I signed up for $10. Without this feature, if the induvial types anything they would have to wait till your or your sales team responds to them. You can not continue with a chat flow.
Just for this feature itself is worth you paying for as it provides you with an AI Sales staff for when you are not available to respond to your leads on Facebook.
If they need information, I added a flow if they wanted to look at Women’s or men’s skincare, which would lead them into the chat flow showing them products and the ability to click on them and go to my website.
I also allowed them to book an appointment for 15mins, 30 mins or 1 hour to learn more.
There was an action where they could also do the Skincare Solution Tool on my website to see what recommendations suggestions our Algorithm would come up with for their personalise skincare for their concerns and skin types.
You can again as I mentioned earlier you can drop in a delay, I set mine up for 3 seconds of the typing bubble. It makes it more personalise. As you can see, the flow I have built out is a lot more detailed.
For the sake of time, I will run through this with you. I don’t want this to be a long drawn out video.
I know I have not filled out all the text or filled out all the copy of the links. Would probably take you 15 – 20mins to set it up.
Can be completely customised to what you do in your business niche. I am in skincare, and my Facebook is there to grab leads and to answer questions with those who are looking to find out more.
So this is for an eCommerce business in the Beauty industry, however, if you run a clothing store or a car dealership, a handyman or a real estate agent. Whatever your business is
Many chatbots are as easy as a Plug and Play app. There you have it guys that are the Many Chats Basic for beginners Tutorial.
