How To Get On Instagram’s Explore Page

The Instagram Explore page is the gold standard for any business. It's the best way possible to interact with a vast selection of people, and it provides incredible amounts of traffic for a business. So getting yourself on it is super important. 

However, it's not the easiest thing to do; otherwise, we'd all be doing it! It takes a particular set of actions and requirements to stand on this holy ground, and we thought we'd take a look at what's in the brand-new Explore page, as well as how to get yourself on it.

So, What’s New?

Okay, so what's new in the Explore page? Well, the thing is, you won't find any other explore page that's like your own. Confused? Let us explain.

The explore page is tailored to suit your specific needs and requirements. What this means is that even though you already have loads of different accounts to follow based on your preferences, you'll also notice that there's a whole bunch of new stuff recommended because of your followed accounts.

So, there's a lot of content on there that's specific to you and your business, your likes and dislikes... but there are also stories on there too now! So you can get an exclusive peek at someone's regular content without having to follow them if you don't want to. Pretty cool, right? 

That's not all either! There are also these things called topic channels. It's a sensible way of categorising all of the different types of posts that are on the site, all within easy access for you to find. Plus you can search by hashtag if you want. Plus you've got cool added features like videos and a shopping channel.






So, How Do I Get on the Explore Page?

We can pretty much guess at what you're thinking right now - how do you get in on this? Well, it's not too tricky, but you've got to follow some of these rules and requirements. The first thing that you're going to want to do is to look at your analytics. This tool will show you what content was most effective, and what popped up frequently on the Explore page of other users - then you replicate that! 

You've also got to know when the best time to post is. Who is your target audience? When will they be on their phones, checking Instagram? You've got to get your aesthetic nailed too - what makes your content yours? If you've got a particular style, it's got to be consistent - it works in your favour with the algorithm for sharing content. Videos are also a brilliant idea. People like little videos - they're fun to watch, and you get a lot of information all at once. It's an excellent way to keep people interested in what you've got to post. 

These are just some of the ways that you can get yourself on that content page. It's not easy by any means, but when you get it nailed, it's so worth it. You'll attract a ton more attention, and it'll be easy to keep people happy. And in the end, isn't that the goal of every business?
