Instagram tests new ‘Collab’ feature in India: Here’s what it lets users do.

Yes. You heard it right. With the increase in activities on Instagram, it was high time to release a new feature that gives more social integrity to creators and marketers. The new ‘Collab’ feature will now let users collaborate in a much seamless way on their feed posts and reels. This feature simplifies the invite to collaborate and socially reflect the same on both the partys’ accounts.?

What actually happens here?

Let us say X invited Y to collaborate on a post. If Y accepts then the post will reflect as a collaborated post made on Instagram. Both the accounts will reflect as owners of the post made in collaboration. Which means that the followers of both the parties will view this post giving each other immense marketing and popularising opportunities.?

This is not it. Instagram will allow the insights and feedback of the post to both sides. Which will in turn help users to collaborate more effectively.?
