How to Add Photos from Your Albums
Did you know you can add multiple photos from your Phone’s Camera Roll to your Stories using the “Sticker” feature?
First, navigate to your photo album on your phone, select the photo you want to use, and then "Copy Photo."
You can then navigate to your stories and paste the photo through the "Add Sticker Option"
Repeat the process as needed, then add your text and engagement tools to get your audience talking back to you!
Use The Pen Tool to Create Beautiful Ombré Text
Myth: Instagram Stories have to use just one color per text line. Truth: You can create beautiful ombré text to make your Stories even more visually appealing!
Start by adding text and then enlarging it to make it easier to change the color.
Then select the color you want to start with and drag your cursor over the color and text simultaneously.
Then resize and reposition your text to be where you want it to be before hitting publish!
How to Share a Post to Your Story
Since more Instagram users view Stories than posts, a great way to get more traffic to your latest Instagram post is by sharing the news in a Story. Here's a beautiful way to do it!
First, use the process noted above to copy a photo from your album and paste it into your stories. Enlarge it so it fills half of the screen.
Next, use the typewriter tool to create a shape by pressing the space bar and use the color select tool to match the background before positioning it into the center of the frame, partially over the photo.
Repeat the process and add the same photo in the empty space along with stickers and gifs to draw the eye!
Color-Match Story Text to Your Photos
Have you ever wished the color options for Story text matched your brand or the photos you’re using? With the color-picker tool, you can match the text color to something in your photo… and it’s incredibly easy! Simply type out your text, tap the eyedropper in the color menu, then drag it across your photo to your desired color!
Show Behind the Scenes with a Time-lapse
Posting a time-lapse video to your Instagram Story is a great way to bring your audience behind the scenes of something you’re doing, creating, or showcasing.
Simply set your phone on time-lapse and move slowly during the process. Once complete, upload the video to your stories and pull back the curtain for your audience as they see you in your element!
