Instagram isn't dead. Your posts just suck.

I used to believe that more followers meant more sales.

I thought if I just posted the right content, grew my audience, and “hacked the algorithm,” my slow fashion business would thrive.

But despite pouring my heart and soul into my business—despite having the mission, the ethics, the craftsmanship, the passion—Instagram felt like a black hole.

I posted beautiful product photos.

I spent hours and hours crafting and editing and editing and editing the perfect captions.

I experimented with every growth strategy out there.

And my sales? Crickets.

I started questioning everything.

Was my business not good enough to support?

Did I need thousands more followers to actually make money?

Was I just... not cut out for this?

But this isn’t just my story. This is the reality for so many slow fashion brands.

The truth is, sustainable fashion isn’t like fast fashion—so we can’t sell the same way.

Yet, so many slow fashion founders try to apply the same marketing tactics as big brands, and when they don’t work, they blame themselves.

But the issue isn’t you. It’s the strategy.

Fast fashion sells on trends and urgency. Slow fashion sells on values and connection.

Fast fashion relies on mass production. Slow fashion is thoughtful, intentional, and personal.

Fast fashion uses aggressive paid advertising. Slow fashion founders often can’t afford it—or don’t want to because it feels icky.

So why are slow fashion founders trying to sell the same way as fast fashion brands?

Because they haven't reached the 'ah-ha' yet.

I reached mine when I was at a breaking point. I felt like my only options were to sell my soul for the hard sell that felt gross and misaligned with my values, or paid ads that I couldn’t afford, or giving up on Instagram—and maybe even my business altogether.

But instead of walking away, I dug deep.

I studied what actually works for values-driven brands. I tested, refined, and built a strategy that finally felt good and worked.

And what I discovered changed everything...

  • Sales don’t happen because of big follower numbers—they happen because of trust and connection.
  • People don’t buy products—they buy stories, values, and impact.
  • Selling isn’t about pushing—it’s about inviting people into something meaningful.

Once I shifted my approach, my engagement turned into conversations, and conversations turned into sales.

And I realised—I wasn’t the only one who needed this—so I created my Instagram Growth Lab.

I built this program for slow fashion founders who are stuck where I was—passionate, talented, and purpose-driven but struggling to make sales online.

I want to save you from the frustration I went through and give you the exact strategies that finally worked for me.

No paid ads.

No pushy sales tactics.

No soul-sucking content creation grind.

Just proven, ethical, human-centred strategies to help you sell authentically and confidently on Instagram. If this resonates with you, let’s chat.

I only work with slow fashion brands (because I don’t want to help unsustainable brands grow), and there are just 10 spots available for my 5-week program starting 31st March.

The world needs more slow fashion brands to thrive and I want to help you do just that.

Let’s use fashion as a force for good—together. Reach out.

Claire.
