Diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2021, Elissa was inspired by her own journey to create a platform that offers practical support for patients in need. Struck by the overwhelming love and generosity of her community, she envisioned a space akin to a wedding or baby registry, but tailored to the unique needs of cancer patients. From comfy clothing to essential services like haircuts and facials, WeGotThis.org aims to enhance the quality of life for patients undergoing treatment.? What about her story inspires you? Elissa's story inspires me on multiple levels. Firstly, her resilience and courage in facing a cancer diagnosis at such a young age are incredibly inspiring. Despite the immense challenges she's encountered, she didn't let her circumstances define her or dampen her spirit.

Her response to her diagnosis is truly remarkable. Instead of allowing herself to be overwhelmed by fear or despair, Elissa channeled her energy into creating something positive for others going through similar experiences. Her vision for WeGotThis.org, a platform that offers practical support and enhances the quality of life for cancer patients, demonstrates her compassion, empathy, and selflessness.
