Connecting employers with my unique network of veterans and people with disabilities (especially blindness). More relevant candidates, tax credits, and better retention. Doing well by doing good! Let's talk.
2 年This is marvelous! Thanks for sharing Mathieu. Especially in the US, many people don't like the term different-abled. I understand the reasoning but also retain some fondness for the term. Many people play drums just as well as the gentleman in the video who performs the task in a way most of us can't envision. It's not the product that is amazing but rather the way in which the product is produced. Naively, as a temporarily abled person, that makes it a different ability to me. Perhaps the more important message however is to not limit our thinking or the opportunities for people with disabilities. Instead, ask how we might help them succeed. And isn't that something we should do for anyone, regardless of their abilities?
