An inspiring teenager who loves astronomy and exploring space

What inspired you to embark on your journey and become the remarkable youngster you are today?

I am primarily interested in space and astronomy. I want to work hard on my dream of becoming a female astronomer or astronaut. My journey began when I was just five years old. I've always been interested in reading. I was reading an encyclopedia about space and astronomy when its exceptional qualities caught my eye. They inspired me to seek a profession as a female astronomer. The vast undiscovered notions of space have piqued my interest in researching and learning more about it. When I was in fifth grade, I attended the ISDC conference, where I met many wonderful people who have continued to support me to this day. My professional path to my fascination with space began during the lockdown when I was in sixth grade. When the pandemic struck, it confined many individuals inside their homes. The lockdown provided me with a lot of leisure time, which I intended to spend towards increasing my knowledge and skills regarding space and astronomy. I searched for classes online and digested all the information I could take. I've also taken several online courses. I then began producing research papers and participating in competitions, where I won various prizes. One of my study articles was on exoplanets, and we compared different exoplanets where people could live.

Tell us about your many milestones and accomplishments in your profession over the last several years.

The space career that I am pursuing has been quite inspiring. It amazes me that large areas of space are yet to be discovered. Throughout my career, I have achieved numerous successes and accomplishments. I placed seventh in the All-India Space Olympiads. I received the distinction of

in 12 Years and 3 Months from the India Book of Records. I also received the 'Global Kids Achievers Award' when I was 13. I secured third place in the ISRO essay writing competition and first in the National Space Society's Space Olympiad.

Tell us about the research papers you've completed so far.

I've worked on four research publications so far. As previously mentioned, the first discusses the most appropriate exoplanets for human colonisation. We took out four candidates and compared them individually in-depth, researching every aspect until we finally concluded on the best suitable exoplanet where humans could settle. I've had two papers published in journals and two others presented at conferences. Following the first paper, my subsequent two papers were presented at conferences. These two articles discussed asteroid mining and space tourism as potential businesses. My most recent paper, the fourth one, is a theoretical construction of a satellite with several components that allow it to move faster. The report discussed how we can build a satellite that will enable us to perform operations much more efficiently. Writing these articles has been quite a journey, involving extensive research and information collecting. I intend to write two more papers shortly.

Many teenagers look up to you as an inspiration. What suggestions do you have for them?

Whenever you decide to do something, you should always seek the advice of more individuals. Instead of squandering your valuable time on social media networks, use them to grow and discover. It is also critical to manage your time effectively, balancing academics and other activities that interest you. I would like to see Indian students, particularly girls, seek and work hard to achieve their goals. Numerous possibilities are available, and you must use them all to improve. Always plan your job ahead of time.
