June was busy with amazing healthcare events! Our team participated in HIMSS Europe, E-Rezept Summit, Digital health experience in Australia, and ITC + DIA Europe, among others.?

ITC DIA Europe

We saw that there's a noticeable rise in the importance of member engagement within the Insuretech sector.

• Companies are looking at customers as members rather than policyholders.
• They want to increase digital engagement amongst their members.
• Companies want to provide complete end-to-end solutions in order to provide for the full member journey.

In addition, it's clear that AI can address many challenges in the Insuretech field, and many companies are introducing AI into their solutions to address their pain points.

eRezept Summit

We are very excited that we could attend the eRezept Summit in Dresden. Our Head of Business Development, J?rg Weise (Mag.) , gave some great insights on the use of AI in healthcare. Once again, the interest was huge!

What we're taking away:

• There is still a rocky road ahead of us in the digitization of the German healthcare system, but it is moving forward - step by step!
• It takes all stakeholders to ensure a seamless implementation of digital processes - doctors, insurers, pharmacies, patients, politics and administration,
• Digitization should help to give more time and space for the human aspects and communication in healthcare.

Digitizing healthcare in Germany

In Germany, the Bavarian Health Spas Association (BHV) is leading the way in digitizing healthcare in its regions by partnering with Infermedica and implementing our Symptom Checker (part of Triage Module). Through this solution, individuals can have their symptoms analyzed online, receive recommendations on whether to seek medical help, and even find appropriate specialists in their region.?
