Inspiring Alumni: Marianne Hemon-Laurens
Reading Real Estate Foundation
Providing support for real estate and planning education at Henley Business School, University of Reading.
We recently had the opportunity to speak with Marianne Hemon-Laurens, Deputy Fund Manager and Senior Director at LaSalle, RREF donor and Henley Alumna.
Marianne shared her journey into the real estate industry, reflecting on breaking into the field without prior connections, the importance of diversity and inclusivity, and her commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals.
As a former RREF scholarship recipient and current donor, Marianne shares our vision of improving accessibility to the industry by supporting students entering real estate without traditional resources or connections. "I believe in the cause of supporting young talent and bringing in individuals who might not easily find their feet in the industry," she explained.
Her message to fellow leaders and those considering supporting RREF is clear: by fostering inclusive and forward-thinking practices, the industry can grow in a way that benefits all.
We're delighted to have Marianne supporting RREF and are grateful for the time she shared with us. Our insightful discussion exemplifies the power of giving back to the community and the importance of nurturing future talent in the industry.
