To me, ‘Inspiring Inclusion’ means?action.?Commitment?translating?into meaningful action. Funding?support and a?networking?platform for women entrepreneurs is crucial.?We can ignite?creating equity and access to women, and create?inspiration?to pay it forward.?

For the startup ecosystem, inclusion must move towards shaping the VC landscape to be more equitable to all. True progress will require channeling resources towards supporting and allocating funds to women-led ventures. Each of us should do our bit for the women around us — to be included and to be inspired to succeed. After all, empowerment isn't anyone's obligation — it’s our collective moral responsibility.?

Delighted to?welcome? Priyanka Gill ?to?#KalaariFamily as Venture Partner and Head of CXXO . Her association with Kalaari began over a decade ago with our investment in PopXO. Transitioning from entrepreneur to a valued member of our team, her journey has truly come full circle. Out of 27,000 active startups in India, only 18% percent are led by women and the number of women investing in them is even smaller.??

The silver lining is women who are investing are actively paving the way for opportunities and access for women founders. For Women's Day we hosted a ‘Women in VC Roundtable’, where we were joined by incredible women from the venture ecosystem for this important dialogue!?
