INSPIRATIONAL TEACHER

Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, renowned for his poetries and literary works but he was also an influential teacher whose ideas and practices impact on Indian education. He founded Visva-Bharati University in 1921 with the aim to break the rigid education system at that time and to promote flexible and inclusive approach of learning.

At Visva-Bharati University, Gurudev implemented a curriculum that included a mix of academic, arts and practical skills.
