Inspiration, Education, and Networking: Intuit Connect 2024 Brings Accounting Professionals Together
From October 28-30, 2024, accounting professionals gathered at the ARIA in Las Vegas for Intuit Connect, formerly QuickBooks Connect. This event, one of the industry’s top gatherings, provided an excellent platform for networking, learning, and inspiration, attracting leaders and professionals worldwide. SaasAnt was proud to participate as a sponsor, showing our support for the accounting community and helping connect attendees with tools that make a real impact.
The platform's name change from QuickBooks Connect to Intuit Connect reflects its evolving role—helping businesses grow at all stages with accountants as trusted advisors guiding them along the way. This year, the sessions offered something for everyone, whether they were looking to enhance their business strategy, improve client services, or learn more about the latest tools in accounting and finance.
Sessions Designed for Growth and Connection
The program was packed with engaging sessions across several vital tracks:
Highlights and Key Speakers
One of the most exciting parts of Intuit Connect was the main stage presentations, where industry leaders shared insights on innovation and what’s coming next. Dave Talach, senior vice president of product for QuickBooks, walked attendees through updates and future features. Christine De Martini and Laurent Sellier demonstrated the new Intuit Enterprise Suite, a major highlight, offering more profound insight into features designed for mid-sized and enterprise-level clients.
Lynda Artesani of Artesani Accounting, specializing in law firm advisory, was thrilled to see the new suite in action, saying, “I’m excited to try the Intuit Enterprise Suite with two of my largest law firm clients.”
Additionally, Artesani and her partner, Sarah Prevost, co-founders of The Proper Trust, led a “Payroll Revolution” session covering how to streamline payroll processes and ensure compliance with QuickBooks Online Payroll. They shared practical steps on using HRIS tools within QuickBooks to keep payroll accurate, protect sensitive data, and reduce errors.
Another popular session was “Blue Ocean: Flip From Service-Led to Advisory-Led Discovery Calls,” hosted by Bob Wang, Kenji Kuramoto, and Roman Villard. The goal was to help accountants engage more effectively with clients, building more meaningful, results-oriented interactions. Wang said, “I left inspired by the networking, and the connections I built with other accountants were invaluable.”

The event also featured inspiring keynotes. One highlight was Priya Parker, who spoke on creating meaningful meetings—a valuable takeaway for anyone looking to host more intentional and impactful conversations. Other notable speakers included Leslie Odom Jr., a Tony and Grammy Award-winning artist, and Mark Mathews, a big wave surfer, each sharing their unique perspectives on resilience and determination.
In addition, Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi and EVP Greg Johnson discussed Intuit’s vision for a connected platform and its future direction. Marianna Tessel shared insights into how Intuit invests in tools to help accountants become even stronger partners for their clients.
