Coating appearance: The appearance of the coating, including uniformity, color, brightness, etc., is observed under natural light conditions. Any phenomena such as pinholes, streaks, blistering, or cracking are not allowed.

Coating thickness: The thickness and uniformity of the coating are important indicators of coating quality, greatly affecting product reliability and service life.

Adhesion of the coating: Also known as coating adhesion, it refers to the bonding quality between the coating and the substrate or intermediate coating. The adhesion of the coating directly affects its decorative and protective functions.

Coating porosity: Coating porosity refers to the small pores from the coating surface to the base metal. The porosity of the coating reflects the density of the coating surface, directly affecting the protective ability of the protective coating.

Hardness: Microhardness testing is a common method for testing the hardness of metal surface coatings. This method uses a microhardness tester to determine the hardness of metal surface coatings by applying a certain load to the metal surface and measuring the size of the indentation.

Wear resistance of the coating: The wear resistance of the coating depends not only on hardness but also on factors such as the material and surface of the object being rubbed, the load during friction, lubrication status, and temperature. Therefore, the testing of coating wear resistance often involves simulating actual usage conditions and conducting wear tests.

Corrosion resistance: Corrosion resistance refers to the ability of plated products to resist environmental corrosion, which is one of the important performance indicators of coatings. Whether it's protective coatings, decorative coatings, or functional coatings, strict requirements are placed on the corrosion resistance of coatings under certain environmental conditions.
