Insights for Modern Content Creation

Insights for Modern Content Creation

We hope your 2024 is off to a dynamic start. At Communications Shop, we’ve been in high gear preparing for all that 2024 has in store, including being on the ground with the National LGBTQ Task Force for Creating Change, their premier annual conference.

While we are strategizing on ways to get your content in front of larger audiences, here are 3 trends we are keeping an eye on and a hot tip:

1. Authentic storytelling is still King (or Queen, if you ask us ??)

The average person spends more than 6 hours a day consuming digital content. More and more, those same consumers are craving authenticity, and we’re here to serve it to them on a platter. People want to see themselves in the content you are producing, especially in the age of misinformation and AI. ?

2. Influencer collaborations can be game-changers!

These partnerships can supercharge your brand and message. When reaching out to creators, know your budget (because there’s no free labor here), have a risk-benefit analysis for each creator you partner with, and know your audience and their audience.

3. Visual and interactive content are the stars of the show.

As attention spans shorten, this type of content takes center stage. Captivate your audience with quizzes, polls, and immersive content that encourages active participation.

?? Hot tip

Crisis communications in the digital age = thousands of messages in one blink. In the era of instant communication, crisis management is more important than ever. In a matter of hours, you can be facing thousands of comments, DMs, shares…viral in the worst way. Be prepared to navigate challenging moments before they arise. Assemble your rapid response team that includes decision makers, identify your spokesperson, and set timelines to alert impacted stakeholders. Act swiftly and transparently, use the right communications channels, monitor social media, and ensure consistent messaging.
