  • Amit Agarwal is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Howden India, effective August 1, succeeding Praveen Vashista. He brings extensive insurance brokerage experience, having worked at JLT's Financial Lines and Credit & Political Risk team, and Marsh, United Insurance Brokers Limited. As CEO, he will drive innovation, expand product offerings, and leverage local expertise for client benefit. Howden India aims to pursue innovation and product portfolio expansion under Agarwal's leadership.


  • Yuma Energy appoints Muthu Subramanian as Managing Director and General Manager. He will oversee the strategic direction and overall operations. Previously, he held leadership roles at Magna for 17 years. Yuma, a joint venture between Yulu and Magna, operates a nationwide network of battery charging and swapping stations, offering India's largest Battery-as-a-Service platform for two-wheelers.


  • Microsoft appoints Puneet Chandok as Corporate Vice President for India and South Asia, effective September 1, 2023, succeeding Anant Maheshwari. Chandok's role involves integrating Microsoft's businesses in the South Asian region, focusing on Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. He brings experience from leading Amazon Web Services (AWS) India and AWS South Asia, collaborating with various businesses to drive innovation and agility.


  • MRF promotes Jacob Peter to VP and Head of HR and Services. With over 27 years of experience, he previously worked as CHRO at Sterling Holiday Resorts and as Chief People Officer at Future Consumer. Jacob's background includes roles at KPMG India, Hay Group, Dal Fryday, Sun Microsystems, GE Capital, and Microland. He holds an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and began his career in sales and business development.


  • Maruti Suzuki India appoints Yukihiro Yamashita as Joint Managing Director of Engineering and Quality Assurance, replacing Shigetoshi Torii. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, he previously served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive General Manager. Yamashita oversaw various engineering operations and held leadership roles at Nippon Denso before joining Maruti Suzuki.
