  • Anuj Virmani is appointed as Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson MedTech India. With 28 years of experience, he aims to lead the company, focusing on ethical leadership, nurturing talent, and expanding operations in tier II & III cities. Anuj holds a Masters in Management Studies from BITS Pilani and previously served as CFO for the EMEA MedTech division, driving successful initiatives in specialities like Bariatric, Thoracic, and Colorectal care.


  • T V Narendran is reappointed as MD and Chief Executive Officer of Tata Steel for five more years until September 2028, pending shareholder approval. With 34 years of experience in the Mining and Metals industry, Narendran has held various significant positions, including Chairman of Tata Steel Europe and XLRI Jamshedpur's Board of Governors. He also served on the Executive Committee and Board of the World Steel Association and was President of the Indian Institute of Metals and the Confederation of Indian Industry.


  • Vedanta has appointed Arun Misra as Executive Director, succeeding Sunil Duggal from July 31, 2023, pending shareholder approval. Misra, with over 35 years of experience, was previously CEO of Hindustan Zinc Limited and oversaw Vedanta Zinc International in South Africa. He held strategic positions at Tata Steel and was the first Indian Chairperson of the International Zinc Association.


  • Jet Airways' monitoring committee approved the appointment of Sundaram Ramesh as CFO, Gautam Acharya as a whole-time Director, and Rajesh Prasad as a non-executive Director, effective from July 20. Ramesh has 40+ years of experience in finance and taxation, while Prasad brings nearly 40 years of diverse experience. Acharya, an aviation professional, who specialized in commercial aviation across continents, has been a valuable asset to Jet Airways for 15 years, overseeing aircraft leasing, regulatory affairs, and law management. The appointments aim to ensure compliance, filings, and support the resolution plan implementation.


  • Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) appointed Adrian Mardell as CEO, previously interim CEO since Nov 2022. He also served as CFO and JLR Board member for three years. Richard Molyneux is named CFO after being Acting CFO since Dec 2022 and Finance Director, Operations for six years. JLR's 'Reimagine' strategy targets carbon net zero by 2039 with science-based goals for emissions reduction by 2030 across the supply chain, products, and operations.
