- Deloitte India has appointed Agniwesh Thakur as Director - Human Capital Consulting. In his new role, he will lead HR technology transformation for client organisations. Before Deloitte, Agniwesh was vice president, of human capital management with Accenture. He is also on NHRDN Board as the young talent council lead and secretary for NHRDN Delhi NCR Chapter.
- Kotak Mahindra Bank has elevated Chetan Savla to the Chief Human Resources Officer and Head Sustainability. Chetan brings over 31 years of experience to the role, including 28 years with the Kotak group. He has worked in multiple business segments for Kotak, including investment banking and wholesale banking, as well as leading the group's strategy division.
- Pernod Ricard has appointed Paul-Robert Bouhier as the new India Managing Director with effect from January 1, 2023. Bouhier’s most recent role was managing director, Pernod Ricard Southern Europe since 2020 and he has held several leadership positions at the company. Bouhier succeeds Thibault Cuny after he stepped down in October 2022 due to health reasons.
- WHO has named Jeremy Farrar as Chief Scientist. Farrar will join WHO in the second quarter of 2023, replacing Soumya Swaminathan. Farrar is currently working as director of the Wellcome Trust and before this, he spent 17 years as director of the clinical research unit at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Vietnam where his research interests were in global health with a focus on emerging infectious diseases.
- Bajaj Capital has appointed Kamayani Aniruddh Nagar as the Chief Executive Officer - Wealth. Kamayani carries two decades of experience with reputed BFSI companies and scaling up various businesses. She has held various roles with national and regional leadership of business verticals and geographies, demonstrating initiative, goal orientation, inventiveness, and ambition in the past.
