He first gained attention on YouTube, where videos of him singing were posted, and because of this, he gained the attention of manager Scooter Braun and artist Usher. Since then, Bieber has been a global icon, which may have never happened if he hadn't utilized an online platform. A more recent example is Taylor Swift, who used TikTok to connect with her fans uniquely. Despite facing restrictions, Swift was allowed by Universal to utilize the platform to its fullest extent, showcasing her powerful fanbase and the strategic use of IP.
