Greg Mccallum recently sat down with Isabella Sumner , Co-founder and CEO of InHaus.ai , for an insightful discussion on her entrepreneurial journey. InHaus provides a tool enabling fashion brands to create product videos at scale and affordably using mobile technology.

Isabella discussed how traditional video production methods are not feasible for high-volume retailers needing hundreds of videos. InHaus developed a mobile app simplifying the process - users record clips which are automatically edited using each client's "video recipe." Isabella emphasized smartphone video quality matches professional cameras and AB tests show positive results.

When asked about challenges, Isabella acknowledged not knowing anything about fundraising before her first round. Through experience, she learned to thoroughly research investors and be prepared to discuss ownership percentages. While intimidating, showing a willingness to learn served her well.

Isabella also discussed the difficulties of wearing many hats as CEO. Hiring a creative director for her co-founder helped them each focus on strengths. For fundraising, she presented him as that pivotal creative role despite initial investor pushback on a non-full-time founder.

Key advice included scheduling self-care like exercise amid busy schedules. Isabella also stressed the importance of reliability - committing to deliverables on time builds trust with clients, employees and investors. For networking, she overcame fears by genuinely learning about others rather than pitching herself.
