After a torrentially wet July which saw raincloud after raincloud burst their waters (yes, pun intended), August started by following a similar pattern. But then this week, we found ourselves asking what that unrecognisable bright spark was sitting on a blue background. To cut a long story short, it’s certainly not been the hottest summer on record – but there’s still time yet!?

July was a month which saw England and Australia draw a highly-contested Ashes series 2-2, the UK public deal with inflated interest rates of 5% and social media giant Twitter take its new name as “X”. It’s been a hectic period.?
