A review of the artificial intelligence (AI) market has been launched by the UK competition watchdog, with the probe set to include popular chatbots including worldwide phenomenon ChatGPT. According to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) chief executive Sarah Cardell, the aim of this regulation is “to help this new, rapidly scaling technology develop in ways that ensure open, competitive markets and effective consumer protection." Average basic pay rate increases across the UK have remained at 6% in Q1 2023, following the same pattern as the previous quarters. Pay settlement data from XpertHR showed that 78.4% of pay increases are higher compared to the same period 12 months ago. Visit the HERE article for more information.
