# Insight On Health and Fitness Is A Game Changer


'' When a lack of motivation becomes the norm, there is a problem.

There is only one choice.

How do I know this?

At the age of 14, my narrative concerning Health and Fitness changed.

My instructor trained me in Choy Lee Fut (Southern Chinese Boxing) Muay Thai,

Combat Jujitsu, Silat, and Boxing.

We didn't train for trophies nor do I still train for trophies.

The goal is much bigger than that!

The training was long and difficult.

For example, we'd train between 7 to 8 hours outside in 80-degree weather many times with no water.

Protective gear was non-existent.

Training sessions would take place in the day or at night and were often done inside a graveyard to overcome the fear of death.

We'd work 1-on-1, 2 on 1, 3-on one, and 4-on one.

I have a scar over my left eye to prove it after spending two months in the hospital due to a sinus injury while working out.

That injury didn't stop me from training.

I was doing sit-ups on the floor with an IV line in my arm.

I'd sneak in the bathroom during the wee hours and work on some techniques.

Fast Forward

At another time I worked out while being plagued with a 105-degree fever in a hot bedroom.

Sometimes 4 of us would be working out in my small bedroom and we'd be slamming each other against the walls so hard and often my mother yelled upstairs '' What's All That Noise.''

We'd just laugh and keep training.

As a matter of fact, we had to place a guy by my bedroom window so no one would take a flight.

My training spans over 39 years.

So what's the point of all this?

I'm glad you asked that question.

There are many benefits to Health and Fitness Training.

Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health.?

Being physically active can:

  • Teach you about proper Dieting, Reflexology, Kinetics, Autonomy, Biomechanics, and Psychological Behavior.

  • Improve energy.

  • Lift your spirits.

  • Offer a healthy high.

  • Decrease PMS.

  • Lower your blood pressure.

  • Improve your brain health/Improve mental focus, use more logic/ make better decisions.

  • Decrease stress, anxiety, fear, and emotional processing.

  • Build self-confidence.
  • Save money

  • Improve planning.

  • Improve digestion.

  • Improve your breathing/ stamina.

  • Help manage weight.

  • Clear up bad skin.

  • Reduce the risk of disease

  • Strengthen bones and muscles/ decreases body inflammation.

  • Improve coordination.

  • Improve sleep.

  • Improve your sex life.

  • Improve your ability to do everyday activities.

  • Lengthen your lifespan.
