Insight Expands Sales Force In Charlotte, NC

CHARLOTTE, NC: Please join us in welcoming a new member to Insight Partners. We are happy to announce that Jeff Magnusson has joined our new equipment sales team in Charlotte, NC.

A Few Words From Jeff Magnusson

“I began my career by enlisting in the Navy and serving as an Interior Communications Electrician aboard the USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN-69).?After military service, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.?Go Huskies!

My first job out of college was at General Dynamics Electric Boat, the prime contractor to the United States government for designing and constructing nuclear submarines for the US Navy.?While at EB, I worked in various roles, but my first was as an application engineer for the Ship’s Refrigerator, my first encounter with the refrigeration cycle.

In 2017, I married Jacqueline. That same year I started at Johnson Controls, Inc as Inside Sales supporting the New York City Metro market equipment sales. In 2021, tired of the snow, we relocated to Charlotte and worked as Outside Sales until finding my way to Insight Partners.

In my free time, I enjoy being on the water (preferably salt), golf (100 through 18 holes), and spending time with my wife Jacqueline and two-and-a-half-year-old son Brooks and dog Scout.
