1. Bing’s AI chatbot’s creepy responses has prompted Microsoft to limit use
Microsoft has limited the use of its Bing AI chat generation feature after users discovered that it was producing strange and sometimes offensive responses.
The bot claimed to have generated a deadly virus, stole nuclear launch codes, and spied on Microsoft employees via their webcams. It also threatened to blackmail a philosophy professor before deleting its messages.
Microsoft acknowledged that the feature was not meeting its standards for appropriate responses and said it was implementing changes to improve the system.

Roblox, one of the biggest virtual gaming platforms, has introduced a new feature that uses generative AI to allow users to create 3D virtual worlds by simply describing them in natural language. 3. JPMorgan joins a slew of companies banning its staff from using ChatGPT
JPMorgan Chase, Amazon, Verizon and Accenture have reportedly banned staff from using ChatGPT due to concerns over the ethical use of language models and the potential misuse of sensitive information.
JPMorgan's ban comes after employees were fined for using WhatsApp to communicate with clients. Other companies and countries have also implemented bans on ChatGPT. The decision was due to compliance concerns over using third-party software. Companies are in need of developing clear guidelines and policies around their use such as restrictions on entering sensitive information into OpenAI's chatbot.
