Microsoft bets on OpenAI
Microsoft is looking to incorporate ChatGPT in its Bing search engine in a bid to beat Google Search.
According to The Information, ChatGPT would be used to answer search queries in Bing instead of merely showing links. This new version is rumored to be launching by the end of March.
Separately, SEMAFOR is reporting that Microsoft is in talks to invest $10 billion in OpenAI that would value the startup at $29 billion.
And Microsoft added ChatGPT, DALL-E support for Azure cloud customers.

A paid-for Chat-GPT is inevitable
OpenAI is working on a premium version of its viral chatbot ChatGPT that is “always available” and provides “fast responses.”
When signing up for the waitlist, users are asked to detail the prices they would be willing to pay for a professional ChatGPT service – including prices per month, potentially hinting at a subscription model.
International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) bans AI-generated content
ICML said its decision was a cautionary one in part due to a lack of time to study ChatGPT and the wider implications it could have on things like authorship.
However, conference officials said they do not plan to implement any systems to check submissions for possible violations of its new policy. Instead, they will investigate any potential violations when it is brought to their attention.
