Today, we speak with Akzharkyn Zhagiparova , Director of the investor relations department, who, despite facing significant challenges, continues to make a substantial contribution to the development of Fonte Capital and the entire financial industry.

Akzharkyn, tell us about your professional journey:

My career in the stock market began in 2009 when I had already been giving lectures on financial literacy at the Almaty Regional Financial Center for a year. I took my first steps as a transfer agent and front office broker, successfully automating trade accounting processes. This experience laid the foundation for my future growth. When I was offered to lead the brokerage business, I took responsibility for attracting large clients and fully automating all stages of the transaction. The result was not long in coming: income growth reached nearly 600%, and our company received numerous awards, including being named the most active brokerage firm and the best partner in project implementation. Today, with 15 years of experience in the financial market, I am determined to invest all my knowledge and skills into the development of Fonte Capital, offering our clients unique investment products and access to a diversified pool of investment instruments.

?Tell us about the key principles and approach to your work:

For me, two principles have always been important in my work: responsibility and efficiency. I am convinced that these are the keys to achieving great goals. Understanding and strong relationships with clients are integral to our work. At Fonte Capital, we deeply understand that long-term business success is built on trust and professionalism in every interaction with our partners and investors. Our goal is to build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships focused on preserving and growing our clients' capital.

Tell us about the challenge you had to overcome:

?In 2021, my life changed dramatically – my kidneys failed, and I needed four-hour hemodialysis sessions three times a week. During this period, I already had experience working remotely, and my company supported me by providing a flexible work schedule. Work became not only a distraction but also a source of strength, especially thanks to interesting projects such as IPOs, SPOs, transitions to a new trading platform, and the implementation of a central counterparty.

The support of my family, friends, and colleagues was invaluable, and with their help, I was able to undergo a kidney transplant in Belarus. Today, I am grateful for every opportunity to continue working, participate in exciting projects, and share my experience.

How did you manage to get back on track?

After the surgery, I realized that I needed to continue growing and developing, which is why I joined Fonte Capital. Here, I found not only a new job but also challenges that inspire me to achieve new milestones. At Fonte Capital, I feel like part of a united team where a strong corporate culture plays a key role. The support of my colleagues and the shared motivation truly help not only to achieve professional goals but also to feel confident in any life situation. This spirit of unity and mutual support makes working here special and energizes me for future successes.

Recently, I participated in a charity run organized by the "Heart Center" Foundation, where 4 000 participants ran distances of 3 and 10 kilometers. The run was dedicated to the issue of transplantation in Kazakhstan. For me, it was not just a run but a symbol of overcoming difficulties and an opportunity to help others. I am grateful to my family, colleagues, and doctors for their support and am glad to contribute to such an important cause.
