An Inside Job
Conflict is an inside job— eradicated from within.
Where is our Compassion within the fear? When do we Question the divide? How much more will we invest in these manufactured sides?
For I am you, as you are me. Together, the Future is Ours.
Come with me. Choose Unity.

7 年I'm with you. I choose unity. Now how do we bridge the divide between the rest of them. First let's drop all the stupid labels. Be it right, left, repub, lib, gay, straight, refugee, migrant... We are all one, and it is time to start acting like it. Great succinct message, Claire!

7 年I like the duality of your commentary. Both internal -external, individually - corporately, singular - plural. There's a lot to message in those words of yours. I like it. Thanks for sharing Claire Smyth!
In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. https://m.poets.org/poetsorg/poem/flanders-fields
