We've recently tracked a lot of smart and connected packaging innovations on our Innovation Zone platform that tackle the global challenge of reducing food waste. This one from Ko? üniversitesi caught my eye. Their researchers have developed a tiny sensor that can monitor food freshness in real-time, wirelessly, without a battery, and send the results to a smartphone.?

Cooking a Meal with Impairments

This is a really interesting video from the brilliant Watch Me Think team. It really makes you think about the importance of inclusive design. They filmed two people's experiences of using a packet of sauce for cooking.
