Inside the Final Coordination Call: Preparing for the Startup World Cup Boston

They Are The Newest Ambassadors Of BNT

As we gear up for the highly anticipated Startup World Cup Boston event, I wanted to take a moment to share insights from our final volunteer coordination call. It’s not every day that you get to see such a diverse and passionate team come together to make an event of this magnitude a reality. This is a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes magic that’s powering one of Boston’s premier startup showcases.

The Call to Action

On the evening of August 26th, our coordination call commenced with vibrant energy. I was thrilled to see so many of our dedicated volunteers logging in early, eager to contribute to the event’s success. It was a special moment to acknowledge Tara Bobozo for her efforts in bringing three new faces into our volunteer squad—her enthusiasm is infectious and truly embodies the spirit of the startup world.

As we began, the agenda was clear: roles and responsibilities needed to be defined, logistics clarified, and any last-minute questions addressed. With just two days until the big event, the importance of this meeting couldn’t be overstated.

The Leadership Team: Guiding the Way

At the helm of this coordination effort are some truly remarkable individuals. Shweta Agrawal , our Co-Director and Chief Product Officer, has been a cornerstone in organizing this event. Her leadership, along with the strategic insights of Mohit Ravindra Kamble and the operational acumen of ROHITH KRISHNAMURTHY , has been invaluable. Together, they’ve created a robust plan that covers every detail, from marketing and media to operations and guest management.

Shweta’s experience in product tech and the startup ecosystem shines through in her meticulous planning. During the call, she emphasized the importance of seamless operations and clear communication, ensuring that every volunteer knows exactly what’s expected of them. Mohit, with his background in marketing, has been instrumental in coordinating our field marketing efforts, while Rohith’s data-driven approach ensures that all logistical elements are optimized for success.

Although he missed our last connect, he’s eager to meet everyone and contribute to the event’s success. His technical expertise and enthusiasm make him a great asset to our operations and check-in team.

His involvement in this event not only allows him to network at the Microsoft NERD Center but also to apply his skills in a real-world context.
  • Devansh Hukmani : A recent Northeastern University graduate, Devansh has been working with BNT since completing his studies. His concise communication and commitment to the team have made him a valuable asset, particularly in operational planning under Rohith's guidance.
  • Hajira Kauser & Ruta Kale : Hajira, with a dual focus on project management and corporate communications, and Ruta, with a background in digital media and marketing, are both taking on critical roles in media anchoring. Their task of capturing the voices and stories at the event is essential for post-event marketing.
