INSIDE THE DREAM WORLD

In a lucid dream, how is it that you have your sense of sight, hearing, touch and smell just as if you were awake? The short answer to this is that you are an ETERNAL SPIRIT created by God; not just a physical body. Your spirit actually leaves your body every night and travels into the dream world or spiritual dimension.

I learned from Pastor and Spiritual Dream Interpreter, John Paul Jackson that there are 20 categories of spiritual dreams through which God speaks to us. The following account is a WARNING DREAM.

In October of 2011, I hadn't had a conversation with my mother back in Atlanta for about two months, which was unusual and God placed her in my spirit to give her a call. When she answered the phone, I knew right away by the tone of her voice that something was off.

I asked her how she was doing and she said, "Not so good". Our conversation only lasted for about 10 minutes. I knew that she wasn't able to give me any real information, because her boyfriend was in the room. I hung up with the unsettling feeling that something was really wrong. Her boyfriend exhibited an uncanny control over her that gravely affected her physical and mental health.

I hung up the phone and that night during my prayer time, I told God that something was terribly wrong with my mother back home and I asked him to show me in a dream what was happening. I went to sleep and had a lucid dream.

I was at the top of a tall building and I saw a bus full of people about to fall off the edge. Inside the bus, people were panicking as the bus filled up with turquoise-blue colored water. The bus fell of the edge of the building and crashed to the street. I went down to the street, entered the bus to find that everybody was dead, but my mother was among them and alive. I pulled her out and then I woke up.

I knew immediately that I had to go home to Atlanta. I flew home a few weeks later and upon seeing my mother, of course I was happy to see her, but I was also in a state of shock. She had lost a lot of weight and had no hair on the top of her head. I knew that she had to have been under a great amount of undue stress to lose her hair like that.

After a few days, I noticed that her favorite shows to watch on t.v. had to do with murder and criminal investigation. She kept a Quicktrip styrofoam cup on her night stand with a straw and a lid on it. I paid no real attention to it until one day she brought it up in conversation.

She said, "Do you see this cup here on my night stand?" I said, "yeah". She said, "Well, it has a mix of soda and antifreeze. I was going to drink it and kill myself. If you hadn't gotten on a plane and come here when you did, I would be dead right now".

She had gotten this idea from a show called "Snapped", which is about how people had gotten to a breaking point and killed their cheating loved ones. One episode was about how a woman had killed her boyfriend by giving him a lethal concoction of Coke and antifreeze to drink. I looked inside the cup on my mother's night stand and it was full of turquoise-blue liquid- the same color of the water that was inside the bus in my dream.

God used the dream to tell me that my mother was close to committing suicide and that I had to go home to intervene. As a result of God's love, mercy and grace, she died of natural causes in 2014.
