Inside the Beleggersfair Amsterdam

Inside the Beleggersfair Amsterdam

Underage visitors, stress ball obsessions and VIP snacks... These are just a few of the things that go on behind the scenes at the Beleggersfair.

On the 4th November 2022, Max Crowdfund exhibited at the Beleggersfair, held at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Amongst 3200 other attendees, Max Crowdfund took several team members to the event. If you want to know what it's really like at the legendary investment fair, these are their experiences:

Felix (CEO) and Marc (Marketing Manager)

Felix and Marc were speakers at the fair giving a well attended presentation about investing in real estate through crowdfunding

Marc reported that he was pleasantly surprised by the age diversity of the fair attendees. In comparison to a similar trade fair that he attended in the summer, there were many younger people at the Beleggersfair- in fact, the Max Crowdfund stand was approached by a couple of aspiring investors who were still under 18 and therefore too young to make an investment.

He found the event to be a great resource for alternative investors with good representation from the crypto world and other assets known for hedging against rising inflation. Marc's only complaint was that it was rather crowded at times.

Felix, on the other hand, was too busy being interviewed and photographed for Max Crowdfund's Best Crowdfunding Platform Award win, presented by Cashcow, to notice the growing crowds.

Petra (Social Media Manager)

As the company's English speaking representative, Petra was overwhelmed by the amount of talking she ended up having to do. So many people took an interest in her despite the event being in the Dutch language, and of course she was blown away by the high level of English spoken by all.

After an extended battle with the roller banners, which decided to take turns in collapsing, Julia and Hilko managed to get the stand built. When Julia wasn't at the Max Crowdfund stand, she could be found at the VIP area where some lucky exhibitors were able to eat and drink to their heart's content.

The best part of the fair for Julia was meeting Max Crowdfund investors in the flesh after months and sometimes years of seeing them in virtual form only (such as email communication). It was pleasantly bonding to be able to put a face to a name, she said.

As one of the speakers at the masterclass, Hilko barely had time to grab stress balls from one of the stands giving away branded merchandise. He now lovingly keeps them on his desk back in the Rotterdam HQ.
