The Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of New Jersey and New York recently concluded their Annual Insurance Conference at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In line with our vision of bringing freedom to every life we touch, InsBOSS was thrilled to join this 2-day insurance networking event from June 2 to 4, 2024.
Delivering on their theme of celebrating an out-of-this-world experience, this year’s annual insurance conference was truly a blast. Professional insurance agents from several big and independent agencies joined together to network and share industry guidance.
Event Highlights
Day 1 – June 02, 2024 (Sunday)
The first day of the trade show insurance event began with exhibitors setting up and moving into the Etess Arena Function Hall. The conference opened its first education session with a Seven-Ten Split Mock Trial: navigating agent errors and omissions by Utica Mutual. The networking reception at the Trade Show floor allowed agents and brokers to check out the booths of our sponsors and exhibitors. The day ended with the YIP Nite Cap Reception at Hard Rock Cafe Backstage with lively music.
Day 2 – June 03, 2024 (Monday)
The second day opened with an education session on understanding and navigating the hard market of insurance. Several microsessions were conducted by partner exhibitors at the Trade Show Area. The networking lunch, held with PIA National President Richard Savino as the Master of Ceremonies and Chris Blackmore as the keynote speaker, was followed by a session on “unraveling the maze of coverage differences.” The day concluded with a Nighttime Beach Party at the LandShark Grill featuring music from The GoodMan Fiske Band.
Day 3 – June 04, 2024 (Tuesday)
The last day featured the NJYIP 40th Annual 5K Fun Run dedicated to the Special Olympics, with over 80 runners. The final education session focused on Cyber Coverage Explained In Depth, capping off the conference.
