Insanity Max 30 : Week 5

As we start the second month of Insanity, I am getting close to maxing out at 30 minutes on some of the workouts, reaching the 30 on one.  This month the workouts change and become a bit more intense. I am looking forward to it.  My lowest weight in month 1 was 198.2 lbs so my goal weight of 192 lbs is in sight.

August 8, 2016 - Max Out Cardio

It is now Month 2 so a new workout to start. I maxed out just past 22 minutes when we started Basketball Dribble. I rested a minute then finished the workout. It was my legs that felt it.

August 9, 2016 - Max Out Power

This week I did the full 30 minutes but my legs are really burning and my abs really feel it. I had a good breakfast before my workout and I think that helped a lot.

August 10, 2016 - Max Out Sweats

I lasted 19 minutes today. It was the Moving Push-Ups that got me.

August 11, 2016 - Max Out Strength

I only lasted 7 minutes on this one. I was tough.

August 12, 2016 - Friday Night Fight

I maxed out at 22 minutes today. Wasaga Beach awaits this weekend. Can't wait to see the gang. After the weekend will be the start of Week 6.

This week The Fit Techie Accountability Group will focus on proper form of squats. We are also running a parallel one for Fit and Stylish. We found a really good video on a form issue that I myself was suffering from and didn't know it.  This small tip should help a lot to make these more effective.  These groups started Monday August 8 but you can still join.  If you are interested I can invite you to one of these private Facebook Groups. I am going to be going back to Hammer and Chisel in September using my new Bowflex Weight.  If you are interested in doing it too, I can get you set up in a challenge group.
