Insanity Max 30 - Week 4

As I start week 4, I have also started the first Fit Techie Accountability Group. The focus is on the proper form for push-ups. If you struggle with push-ups, and wish to join the group let me know on The Fit Techie Page I can add you to the group.  

August 1, 2016 - Cardio Challenge

Today I did my push ups for the Accountability Group first then I did my Insanity workout. I maxed out at 22:25 today.

August 2, 2016 - Tabata Strength

I was sick today so I took my Buckley's Nighttime and some Advil.  This put me to sleep all day and when I woke up I felt a lot better. I still feel a little sick but a lot better. I did my push-ups for my The Fit Techie Group and then did my Insanity Tabata Strength workout.  I maxed out at 24 minutes which is just after the scissor push-ups.  Last week I maxed out at the start of those push-ups so I feel good about that.  I went on the finish the workout without another break.

August 3, 2016 - Sweat Intervals

Today I was able to finish the entire 30 minutes without maxing out. Last week I got to 24 minutes so that is awesome. I have not done my push-ups yet will do them this afternoon.

August 4, 2016 - Tabata Strength

I did my 40 push-ups for the challenge then did my workout. I maxed out at 24 minutes as my arms were tired and my form was going to suffer. I took a 1 minute break then finished the workout.

August 5, 2016 - Friday Night Fight

I did my 40 push-ups for the challenge but 4 per rep for 10 reps. That was easier but still hard.  I then did my workout and Maxed Out at 20 minutes.  One more workout and we are onto month 2. Wow that went fast.

August 6, 2016 - Pulse

This workout felt good today, it stretched everything out. The focus was maxing out on form.  This workout was actually the inspiration for my Accountability Group.  There are a lot of groups that focus on pushing the number of an exercise you can do.  This group focuses on form. Get the form right then do more.

The The Fit Techie Accountability Group ended for the week a great success. We were all able to do more push-ups than before because we focused on form. We start a new exercise on Monday. I found a really good video on a form issue that I myself was suffering from while doing squats and didn't know it.  This small tip should help a lot to make these more effective.  This group starts Monday.  If you are interested I can invite you to this private Facebook Group.  Continue to follow my journey as I start month 2 of Insanity Max 30.  I am going to be going back to Hammer and Chisel in September.  If you are interested in doing it too, I can get you set up in a challenge group with me.
