The Iggesund Workington board mill in the UK has successfully applied a Valmet IQ Moisturizer in board production to achieve higher production rates especially with higher grammage products.
”We are more than satisfied, stiction is improved and we have been able to increase machine speed by several percent, especially with the heavier grades where drying after the MG was a problem,” says Moring.

5 年This is fascinating. The best sales school of my career was with AccuRay, 1971 to 1974, when I had the pleasure of serving as their first Account Manger for Finland. Continuous sales and follow-up calls to the Finnish pulp and paper mills enhanced my knowledge of the pulp and paper processes. The most valuable lesson was to learn the essence of successful sales work. We were there to provide solutions to customer needs - not selling widgets and equipment only.? After returning to Valmet Automation in November 1978 I felt that "AccuRay Sales School" was a helpful asset during my main career with Valmet Automation 1979 to 1991. It is nice to notice that innovative solutions can still, at the age of 81, make me excited. Keep going Jarmo and the colleagues!
