Innovation. All parents are naturally innovative. Those who have a long road to becoming parents or bringing a child home are even more innovative. We learn to adapt, to redraw the vision we have as circumstances change.
And being innovative is totally key to what we are doing these days with Covid-19. Our usual plans are no longer going to work and so we have been innovative in creating a new normal. In-person events have gone cancelled, postponed, or gone virtual. Instead of going into an office or coworking space, we work at home and figure out how to still foster community and togetherness virtually. Parents have become teachers temporarily, and teachers have learned how to take their normal classroom experiences and convert it into distance learning.
So, share with us...how are you being innovative these days?
