The Problem

The project involved deploying a Hanwha dome multisensor CCTV camera in an area where maintaining a clear line of sight for wireless connectivity was critical. Wi-Fi CCTV cameras often face interference issues due to obstacles like trees, buildings, and other environmental factors. These obstructions can disrupt the signal, leading to poor performance and unreliable surveillance coverage.

Project Initiation

Recognising the potential challenges,?CDS developed an Altron bracket to create a custom solution.?The goal was to create a bespoke bracket that could accommodate the unique requirements of the Hanwha dome multisensor camera while ensuring reliable wireless connectivity. Delivery

The new bespoke bracket extended?the traditional half-swan neck design. This extension was crucial for supporting the wireless link, ensuring the camera maintained a clear line of sight despite potential obstacles. The bespoke bracket was crafted precisely to accommodate the camera's specific dimensions and requirements.

The innovation was introduced in Milton Keynes, a location where CDS has long been the incumbent partner for Thames Valley Police. The trial proved highly successful, delivering a more reliable signal and facilitating faster installation, instilling confidence in the solution's reliability.
