Innovation in Scheduling Vol 1

As a provider of a killer Employee Scheduling App we are constantly looking for way to innovate and expand. As such we will be writing a series of articles related to how people can use our Scheduling App in ways they may not have considered before.

Virtual assistants are becoming a vital component to many business owners, and many companies offer top talent. However, many of these VA companies are offshore, so it is very important that it is clear when a VA should be active and when they might be needed.

Utilizing a Scheduling Solution with a mobile companion would allow you to regulate this without the need for tedious interactions. For example, my VA is out of South Africa, so is 8 hours ahead of me. Every week I determine my need and with a simple drag and drop, put in the times that I need his support (it is usually the same times so normally I tend to just copy the previous week and publish the shift which means my weekly scheduling activity only takes me about 30 seconds!). Then in real time my instance is updated, and he receives his schedule on his mobile app instantly. If for some reason he cannot make one of the days, he simply uses the app to notify me he needs the time off, and I can instantly make the needed changes.

Super simple, extremely effective!
