Innovation Origins, Gerard & Anton, Laio, Jakajima: one family under Media52
Today, we celebrate the acquisition of Jakajima's conference and event operations. As Jakajima's owner and CEO Pieter Hermans describes it from his perspective:
After organizing international high-tech conferences for over 15 years, I am returning to focus on management consultancy, interim management, and supporting clients in setting up new activities and projects, preferably related to high tech. I am thrilled that Media52, known for Innovation Origins, Gerard & Anton, and the AI tool Laio, is taking over all conferences from my company Jakajima. [Pieter Hermans]
From our point of view, it's a natural step. Jakajima's activities were so close to ours that it would be insane not to join forces. So that's what we did today. From now on, events like the Agrifood Innovation Event, 3D Medical Conference, LiFi Conference, and the Optical Wireless Communication Conference (and many more) can benefit from our expertise on these specific themes - and our readers can benefit from this new network of valuable contacts, all bearing knowledge we can share.
For our own operation, this also means something. More than before, Media52, our mother company, will be working from 3 business units:
Every unit has its own targets, but we are united in our mission to find, build, and share innovative tools that will make our world a better place. In Unit 1, it's all about telling the story of innovation; in Unit 2, it's about strengthening the community of innovators; and in Unit 3, we build the tools to enable others to participate in these innovative developments.
