As Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows (RWJFENF) we are required to develop and implement a focused and substantial leadership project as one of the requirements of the program. Fellows convene Action Learning Teams to complete this requirement and each Action Learning Team consults with a nationally recognized subject matter expert to assist in project design. Our team had the pleasure of working with Dr. Roy L. Simpson, Vice President, Nursing Informatics, Cerner Corporation.
Over the past year our Action Learning Team dug into what nurse leaders know about innovation, how it works and how it can be used to meet the needs of the quadruple aim. Our project focused on how we can help nurse leaders build a sustainable culture of innovation within their own organizations. While health care is local, INNOVATION is global so you will find our work in an English version and Spanish version.
We hope you find our road map helpful.

8 年Quadruple Aim is the first Innovative thought I learned, and that was only in your introduction. Wonderful work, congratulations to your team. Phenomenal opportunity for creative and important collaboration to move the conversation beyond improving healthcare to addressing "peoplecare". RWJFENF program is providing the space for this to happen.
